Reverse lights

this is a thing that bothers me since i bought the Fto.
the Reverse Lights are soo poor on this car !
Most of the times i don't see noting if there are no lights around and it's completly dark .
I tinted the windows a while ago and now it's even worse . i'm afraid that ''SHE'' might bump into something /someone .

any ideas ? ( beside fitting an extra lamp ? )

get parking sensors.

(for the side too if they do them!)

Replaced my crappy bulbs with LEDS and the difference is HUGE well worth doing if you want extra light.

De-tint the reverse light parts of the cluster for a start!

those are perfectly Clear , didnt tint them ( just the signal lights are in red now)



Colm .. bulbs are in good condition ( both )

Daz - wich LED's did u go for?

Try replacing a reverse bulb with a brake bulb and see if it makes a difference. Did it in the Vectra we used to have and it made a massive difference.

a reversing bulb and bake bulb should be the same

Don't forget to shout "beep - beep - beep" as you reverse! :lol:

Course I believe the Tips do this as a matter of course anyway - I think Mitsi orig planned on marketing all the Tips as bread Vans. :lol:

Haha, ya mine does that, and its bloody annoying too I'll tell you! I dont need a siren to tell me I'm going backwards, the fact the car ahead is getting further away is a big enough clue!

Standard fitment 9 led type, you'll find suppliers on ebay if you have any trouble finding any let me know i might still have the details of the seller saved somewhere.
