I ran out of peterol yesterday - it was my own fault as I had been driving on empty for a day and a half and was too lazy to stop for peterol.

Luckily for me it was in my own driveway when it happened but the thing is that I only traveled about 10 miles from when the peterol light went solid.

I had asked here a while ago about how far you can get once the warning light stops flashind and the answer was 30-40 miles so be careful guys if you're being an amber gambler.

The light will come on and go off intermittently for a while, it will only go solid when you've little or no petrol in the tank...

The annoying thing is that the peterol light doesn't come on at all when you're completely out of peterol thus complicating the troubleshooting process.
