Suspension advice please

Postby Syn » Fri Sep 19, 2008 3:12 pm

Hey all

Ive got knocking coming from the back of the car when going over bumpy road surfaces. Its not really bad just annoying so wana sort it. Checked all the shocks and springs and all are ok so im thinking its bushes. Is it more than likely the drop links making the noise or one of the other bushes? Or should i just replace all of them? Any advice is appreciated

Camskill may be friendly, but can be expensive. Got an air filter from Bradshaws in Carlow yesterday. €14+vat. Same one on Camskill, even on special offer...well..!

Gfalls, I'd be interested to hear what Bradshaws quote for ARB bushes and droplinks. Most folks are gonna spend more than a tenner when buying from Camskill...

To be fair to camskill, the part price is less, but yes, the postage does make it expensive. Thing is though, camskill seem to charge the same for postage regardless of size. So for an €11 filter, £14 postage... expensive.
For a €500 exhaust, £14 postage... great value!

Agreed, Camskill P&P can work out well on heavier items.
It cost me less to ship my downpipes than it did a cable for the satnav, and it arrived faster.

have you guys never rang camskill (mike) about the shipping? I was getting rocker cover gaskets and the shipping was 11sterling. I rang up mike and he sorted it out for me agreeing that the gaskets would just be in a small envelope. very accommodating crowd. but obviously bigger or heavier items like droplinks will cost...

I know i've posted this somewhere before but when I went to buy DextronIII in the local car shops they were looking for €12 a litre and i wanted 4-5 litres of the stuff. Got it 5 litres shipped from Camskill so something around £20 if I remeber correctly. Not to mention I had it in a day or two. Great site.
