DIMs are crap as standard - I replaced my dims with a set of heads (HB3s) and just modified the bulb to suit - used the philips bluevision bulbs.

See here - http://www.fto-ireland.com/forum/phpBB2 ... hlight=hb3

But def change battery asap -the standard is similar to a micra so they're very reasonable.

Aye! Dimms are crap as standard.. you can do the "modded" bulb thing. - Alternatively get a set of the "ultra bright" bulbs - but they'd still be pretty weak.. I didn't do the modded bulb thing yet - but I will..cause it's borderline dangerous driving in the dark..

I went the HID route, much better than standard. I remember asking myself on several occasions whether the dims were actually on or not when they were.

I was informed by a member of the Garda Siochana once that having your front fogs on when its not foggy is an offense

Ricerocket does them as Dave says, and I think alloywheelsinternational did HIDs at one stage too, if I have the right person? They're easy to install, the only awkward bit is working out where to mount the ballasts.

Last price I remember was a special offer of £199 stg, as against ~£230 normally iirc, but they appear to be a decent quality set.

Hmmm, thats not too shabby - where was that from?

I've left my FTO behind in SA with my pops, so I might consider this in a couple months.

Legality aside, its a serious pet hate of mine when other drivers use their foglights in the wrong conditions, folks don't seem to realise that they're temporarily blinding oncoming drivers!
