VRT on FTO

Postby Mitsumaniac » Wed Jun 10, 2009 12:54 pm

First of all - HELLO!!!!.....again :P
I`m back after over a year off this site. Some of you knew me as dirtylopez (what a stupid nick :P)
Since I`ve sold my 95 GR Tip, I miss her almost everyday... and she still sits as a wallpaper in my laptop :!:
So since I found out that this must be love :smt007 , I decided to buy an FTO again
So my question is... Is any of yous have a clue what VRT I`d pay for an FTO?
I was viewing ebay UK as you all know the prices are lower over there and more FTOs to choose from.
Thanks for any ideas

Depending on year model etc I'd say about €700-1000. I brought in a 96 GPX from the uk 3months ago and I paid €789. If bringing one in from outside EU you'll have to pay more for importing it. You will be paying 32% of the book value of the car as the FTO is in the highest bracket of CO2 emmisions (which is what they base VRT on now).

Good luck with the purchase.

Top rate of VRT is 36%

The girl that did mine must have made a mistake so. She said the fto was in the top bracket as it had no co2 plate on it.
