Trying to get into using this for looping samples - finding it real difficult to chop wave files (mp3s)..I know it's a real long shot but has anybody come across any good guides..there's loads but they all seem to address other issues and most are super advanced..I just want to juggle a few tunes..

Awesome.. Ive been doing my nut in not being able to make loops and slices in it.. wanting to get a trigger pad as well, but 1st I need to get the sampling business down.

let me know what set up you're using.

ie: what operating system are you using, is your version of ableton live cracked or genuine, is it 4,5,6,7,8?

What is your main aim, ie are you looking to produce to sell tracks to a label, are you looking to make your own mixes, or are you simply trying to sample things for another reason.

I'm not a fan of sample pads, I would suggest a midi keyboard then you can assign samples to each key, you will also be able to us the keyboard for a wide range of other things too.

well I was fed that by an Irish person... sadly I dont have the skills to verify it..so I'm going on blind trust...most of yopu Irish peeps wouldn't know the difference anyways.. (I base that solely on the peeps I've met over the past 8years and a bit)..
