Totally agreed Shane, when it came to the crunch and I knew it'd be gone I just couldn't go through with it...

Thanks for the list... there's a few "questionable" ones on there!! :P

The cosworth merc?? I'd say that'd be a mare to run!

Girlfriend is only 21 on a provisional with 1 years NCB, so there will be some constraints! main one is that it has to be a 4 door, easy access to the rear....(No pun intended ;)) And I've tried to convince her that an FTO would be a good buy but no joy!
She wants a 206 for some reason!!! I'd be more inclined to get a 02 golf or something, the civic is a nice proposition too!!

206s are terrible for access to the rear - doesn't matter how many doors you get it with - just not a practical car.

On the plus side you should be able to get one for very cheap as they're all over the gaf..but they really are just bad bad cars.. (noi to any pug heads that might be reading this - this observation is based purely on personal experience you might think it's a perfectly good car..) I say if she wants a pug go one up size wise from the 206..
