Just thought id stick my 2pence worth in about quinn

Looks like quite a few people have had problems with them so just thought id let u know my quote

Im 24 (was 23 when insured on my last car)
4 years no claims protected

Had a Impreza Sti import, insured that at the time for £850 Fully Comp with protected no claims,(with quinn) thought that was quite good, rang around and no other company would insure me on a turbo being younger than 25. Was fairly modified, had a rolling road done on it and was just over 310bhp at the wheels (told quinn all this as well!!!)

So was pretty chuffed. Anyways.. sold it about a month ago and wanted an fto, thought i may as well get a GPX as insurance group should surely be less than the group 20 of the impreza. So found a really clean fto put a deposit down.

Driving home on the phone to Quinn, thinkin ill just swap my insurance over, maybe even get a bit of a discount as already payed most of the years premium

Then then announce that my quotes £2700, they are a bunch of knobs, and im never going with them again

...and you found out the hard way that this isn't the case! FTO insurance groupings have always been artificially high, its less about performance and more about the other statistics (i.e. cost of parts, no. of FTOs crashed etc) that push the model up the rankings.

Im UK mate. Thats why i assume my postage from camskills only £3, ive seen they charge u ireland guys quite a lot
