Adhesive for bodykits?

Postby soc » Thu Jul 12, 2007 10:07 am

I just picked up an add-on for the TT's rear spoiler that gives it the same appearance as the V6 rear spolier (slightly longer) - I need to bond it on and am looking for recommedations on adhesive - so far I've been told to use tigerseal or sikaflex or whatever is used for windscreens.

Anyone any other recommendations or anyone know where I could get some sikaflex or tigerseal (online would be nice cause I'm lazy  )....

I might just ring a few windscreen places today....

On the off-chance anyone needs the same - I called into AAA windscreens on Lombard street and both 2 cartridges of Dinitrol 9000 - the adhesive used to fit windscreens - only 12 euro.

I'm planning to try fitting the spoiler extension this week - maybe tomorrow morning in the work carpark as it's underground and dry ;)
