How much spam email do you get?

Just curious. I've averaged out 150 spam emails per day over the past 2 weeks
If I'm offline for a day or two, its a nightmare checking thru the spam filter.

My Gmail filters most of it for me - but..I reach a staggerin 1000->1200 per week.
In work only 5-6 weekly make it through the filters.
I have an account with a provider called warmmail - withthem I get 10 or so a week.
I hate spam..

I use a system called Bullguard which leaves about one per month slip through and I mark it as Spam. This filters it for all other subscribers.
I assume (with my limited knowledge) this collective marking of spam from all subscribers is the reason there is so little filtering through.
Thats my theory!

We're seeing unprecedented amounts over the last few weeks in work.

I get between 90 and a 100 a day. I now use "Onlymyemail" and that catches it all, but it takes a little while for it to learn what isn't spam.

I never received a single piece of spam on my eircom account since I opended it around 7 years ago.
My sister told me I should download limewire.........and since then, around 200 mails every couple of days. All [Sexually Explicit] as my Norton Anti Virus helpfully tells me.
Tried all sorts of programs, freeware - but no joy. Will be changing my address I think........
