FUN FUN FUN In da FTO!!!

Postby Diddler » Wed Aug 11, 2004 10:25 am

Hey Peeps,

Took a trip to Newry last night to pick up da brother and his wife. They went to a card reader (Spooky!) but on the way back to Newry after it was over, a mighty nice Beamer sailed past!

With that in mind i kinda dropped the boot and before i knew it i was on his tail with a small race on my hands.

We hit the bypass in Newry and we took off. He was leading just up the straight as we sailed passed a Mitsi Pajero (Who seen what was going on and put the boot down) about 500 yds later I was sailing past the BMW at about 110mph.

Maximum respect to the BMW but the poor chap driving it looked kinda devistated as the 4 of us passed and waved. Another great victory for the FTO.

Just wait till she's all tuned up - Woohoo!!!!!! Roll on the good days!!!!

It was about 11ish and the road was quiet. Couldn't help myself - Wee prick in da BMW thought he was smart!

I hear ya... if they're being smart at all its just too tempting to put down the shoe and wave bye-bye... FTO prob gets more than average smart asses trying to beat it too I'd guess, going to be sooo hard to behave myself...

Every1 has to have a go at you! I was down in Warrenpoint last saturday and coming home on the dual carrageway, a wee smart ass in a VX Astra 2.0 DTI wanted to have some fun, but as you can guess there wasn't too much involved in smokin his ass.

I was coming into Dundalk a couple of weeks ago and i was on the Ballymac roundabout on the inside lane heading in the old road, and a cheeky fella in a GTI Golf with his few mates sailed past me on the outside lane and cut me off on my exit.

Again, i was gone before he hit third gear! Needless to say he sat about 300yds behind me all the way in the road.

I hear you Adrian and I'm usually a safe driver. I have the woman and the wee fella in the car so i don't need a factory restrictor - Sit at about 60mph (If i'm lucky :? )

But sometimes, i kinda get carried away - It was late at night and i know the roads - I grew up there! Its just nice to serve some revenge!

No, I know what you mean.....I'm safe too and never got a ticket or anything like that but the odd time when I get challenged on a good motorway road etc I do show em the VTEC.
6 gears and I recently hit 91 in 3rd at 9100RPM wasting a Fiat Coupe who challenged...

Everyone seems to be out to get the FTO at the mo. I had a Ren. Laguna with 3 lads in it tyre spin away beside me on a DC recently. I started of slowly but once I hit 2nd gear they were 100meters behind me and I couldn't stop laughing. There seems to be a certain time in the evening (9pm) when they all come out.

Yep I am safe too, never got a ticket ever either.......

Not in the last month anyway. Must have about 7 tickets in the FTO over the years (got 2 points now). Radar detector has never saved me either since the cops now mostly use the laser sighted, tripod mnounted traps that have you before you detect them.
