DIDNT wire up the AF wiring or the MIVEC controller

But nice piece of kit and really sets the interior off!

My guess is that Muad reckons your keyboarding skills are suffering due to lack of fingers.

Though usually at this time of night (from personal experience) its more to do with alco-mohol than the whole digitary thingy-ma-gig! :lol:

lol :lol:

nice bit of kit! if you have a full breathing system,
eg.
exhaust,
intake,
pump,
etc.

great idea as with the new maps youll really get hte extra umpf out of the mods you have.

If your looking for something that looks cool get an APEXI RSM

I would would really want to be seeing before and after dyno grapha to back up any power gains. How does the car feel to drive (placebo affect aside) after fitting the Neo?

I would be one of the doubter's here too. Looks good but is it of any advantage on the FTO. Dyno the only real way to prove it. Look forward to the dyno results.
I still reckon this unit is more suitable to Turbo or smaller more tunable engines.

Agree....can't see an FTO benefiting much from messing around with mapping...would love to be proved wrong though!

@ cj i didnt get the car mapped yet!
so there is no difference as all its doing is relaying info back to me.

Im not looking for mad power gains if i got 10BHP id be very happy,
The main reason i got the neo over anything was to sort out the fueling of the car!

The fto as we all know runs ferry rich after you fit aftermarket parts to the breathing system of the car.

So i am looking to sort them out, if it saved me 5-10 yoyo or so a week on petrol a week it would pay for itself!

I do think myself that an aftermarket ECU is the way to go once you have breathing mods like the intake, decat exhaust, iridiums,FPR and walbro fuel pump etc fitted - I wouldn't like to depend on the standard ECU to adjust the fueling.
Not saying there will be any great gains but it should maximise the potential of the mods.

It may be sufficent to just alter the air/fuel ratio with an Neo rather than both air/fuel and timing with a more expensive ECU type.

A rolling road will session will tell a lot. I'd be very interested myself to see what the benefits actually are.

yea time will tell, but as if said its more to get the running costs down and have her running smoothly!

If i really wanted HP id get her set up for nos!
at the moment my intake and exhause is as follows;

BMC filter
ARC intake chamber
Standard Plug leads
Standard Plugs
Standard fuel pump

Standard manifold
Standard downpipes
Decat
5zegin Pro racer CATBACK

before i get the neo mapped,
all listed in red will be upgraded,

Leads -> magnicore 8.5mm
Plugs -> iridiums
Pump -> Walbro 220
ADDING A FPR TO THE MIX
*hopefully* aftermarket downpipes.
ADDING HEAT SHEALDING TO THE AIR INTAKE
