When changing the Auto gear box oil yes there is a filter to be changed best place to get one quickly would be camskills, http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... 11s12p2700 but local motor factor's should be able to get you one if you take in the number to them.

As reguards the rear knocking Have you replaced your exhaust lately? could be that the replacement i's quite the perfect fit also it still could be the exhaust it might have slipped out of the rubber hanger. Would really need to hear the noise ti know better but thats something you can check quickly for starters.

I have a knocking in the rear left when I go over bumps. It's the tools in the tools storage area in the left hand side of the boot under the carpet. Check it out and see if it makes a difference by taking them out and putting them in the glovebox for a drive.

Rear knocking could also be your rear droplinks and/or rear Anto Roll Bar bushes - get it up on a ramp and take a look. If you have never replaced these items chances are they need to be.
