Shell V-power

Postby CJ » Sat Oct 15, 2005 3:48 pm

So who uses it and is it any use? I've filled up twice with it and I reckon I get slightly better fuel economy, apart from that, theres no noticable difference. I took a quick look around the web and I couldn't find out a whole lot of real info on V-power, I appreciate that the added cleaning agents may be of some benefit but is it all just marketing hype on Shells part?

I'll usually use VPower myself, haven't come across any info on it apart from the ads etc. but reckon its probably a combination of a slightly better product and hype.

I use it when I have the extra cash! Always think I notice a slight increase, but then if thats after filling the tank with the extra weight, that slight increase might add up to a decent increase. Whats the RON on Vpower?

I've been using V Power since I can't find 98 RON any longer.
I would say its better quality petrol - cleaner burn - no deposits - no brainer! I would say you'd probably get very slightly better fuel ecomony as well but not enough to make up the price difference on basic 95.
