I think they will deliver mail to the address even if it has no stamp.

Another way to do it is to get a letter with a window envelope addressed to someone, cross out the window and write the persons actual address on the envelope. I've been getting post re-directed from the house in Clare this way for ages and they've delivered every single one.

Stamps aren't that expensive though.

That reminds me, I've an old stamp collection somewhere comprised of pre 1940's stamps, they've gotta be worth something - I might swap them for a couple of hundred litres of petrol...
