[PLEASE READ] Website upgrade Sunday the 29th of March

The forums will be offline from 9am - 12pm on Sunday the 29th of March to facilitate a site upgrade. Both the website and forum software will be upgraded during this time. To get a feel for how the new forum will look, please click here.

Please note that personal photo albums (and possibly avatars) will not be ported over during the upgrade. If required, you should back this content up now and move to a free image hosting service e.g. Photobucket or Tinypic.

Despite spending a couple of hours this morning in a frantic effort to get the forum and site updated, I had to put it on hold due to a web server configuration issue. I will attempt the upgrade again once the ISP fixes the the problem i.e. no notice will be given in advance of the upgrade.

As you can see, we've upgraded to PHPBB3. Please post bugs or issues in the following thread:

I appreciate that the look and feel of the forum is different and it may take some time to get used to, especially for older members. In other words give it a chance before flaming! I know that profiles\avatars on the right hand side is going to throw people off, its a personal bugbear of mine.

The main site is now more integrated into the forum in terms of the navigation bar. Some tweaking will be done over time in terms of developing the content etc.
