I think this is the best way... I`ve got very similsr myself (SIMOTA) in carbon fibre heat shield... 100% happy and you can easly connest cold air pipe to it.

Get an aftermarket panal filter and keep the existing airbox. That what I'd do if were to go down the same road again. Power gains from induction kits on an N/A car are negligable and more often than not result in a power loss, especially if no CAI has been factored in.

ITG and HKS do both panel filters and Mushroom type/Bath Sponge types.
For sound go with the later - for performance try and combine either/or with a good cold Air/Ram Air induction and heat shield in the case of the open type filter.

Camskill or Ricerocket will have good choices on FTO induction kits.

Makes a much nicer noise and "slight" power increase over standard. Presume you have a GPX or GPvR? The GR/GX ITG's are more expensive cause of the MAF adaptor thats needed in addition. Would also recomend getting some heat shielding and/or cold air induction fitted.

...or, buy the one for GPX for 66sterlings and get this adaptor separately here:

I did and it fits perfect, FTO seems to have a lot of similarities with EVOs
