Hey Jace,

welcome to fto-ireland! Good to have another Cork based FTO owner on the site, there's a few around Cork and there but not many of us on here yet.

What colour is yours, might have seen it around from time to time? Mines a silver GR, manual.

Kev.

edit: scratch the question, just read the bottom of your post again!
Steel Silver manual GR (95 C)

Welcome Jace, sounds like you've been busy, good luck with the motor and all that you have planned for it.

Tell us more about the Skyline - it's a car that I'm v. fond of.

How much was it costing for insurance, petrol, servicing ?

I tihnk you'll be pleased with the FTO - it costs hardly anything to run except for hefty insurance and hefty petrol bills if you have a lead foot !!

on the skyline!! first of all when i bought it, the garage in cork who sold it to me put on false plates snd never cleared it with the vrt ppl!!
so had it in my drive for six months, finally got it cleared (cost me a grand) back on the road and then my insurance quote for the year came it was'nt to bad though, but it was cvosting me an absolute fortune on gas!!so it had to go!!!tell ya the truth my fto wouldnt be to far off the skyline,it was a 2.5 turbo, it would nip the fto in the lower revs but id say with the mivec kickin in it would hold its own against the skyline, anyway i prefer the fto,its a bit of a dark horse!
