Back Seats

Postby RussMan » Mon Sep 19, 2005 1:19 pm

Took out the back seats of the fto over the weekend for the "laugh" didn't realise it would make such a difference that it did..
Unfortuantely the difference wasn't speed it was noise.. F**k me, driving the car down to wexford over the weekend and it was boardering on unbearable. All the soundproofing on the floor is still in place so i'm going to have to see where all the noise is emanating from!
Has anyone done this already? Do you have any suggestions on improving this... besides the smart answer of putting the seat back in. I'm going to get the seats re-covered to match the front ones pending its not too expensive

I am presently driving around without back seats - also without spare wheel and toolkit along with carpeting and crap boot wood flooring that weights a ton - also removed rear CD changer and Sat Nav stuff - It feels like I'm driving a Nascar at the minute - the decat RSR exhaust is louder than ever. All done in an effort to improve power to weight for the 1/4 mile run last weekend - car performance really improved and it sounds savage so I'm in no rush to put all the muck back on the car. The drive to work is certainly a lot more visceral. 8) - I don't think I've turned on the stereo since.
