Blitz SUS Induction Kit

Postby mark » Fri Jun 04, 2004 2:40 pm

Are these any good? I'm getting quoted 300 euros for one and a HKS spf. which is a lot of bread.
It's for a GR. I'm told that the Blitz one is the same fitting as a Lancer.
IM ONLY INTERESTED IN PERFORMANCE not noise!
I don't really want to go through the UK for it at the mo.

Mark, I had one of these boys on the GS, lovely bit of kit and sound the business but as we found out @ the last RR day, induction kits don't do a whole lot for the FTO performance wise (+1bhp with a K&N on Daz's manual)
If I where you. I'd get the Quickshift from www.motorsportworld.co.uk, its pretty much the same thing and its listed @ £110 (€165), whatever about not buying from the UK, this is a pretty good saving! Funky Product list the Blitz SUS @ €225 by the way...

Or you could get the tasty K&N style votrtex cone filter with stainless induction pipe from funky products for €130 - comes with an oil breather filter too - check out this link - http://www.funkyproduct.co.uk/item.php? ... eNumber=78
It's the 2nd one down.

I got one on my GR, it looks great, sounds great and did actually make the car feel a bit more responsive. Also IIRC the stainless steel mesh filters didn;'t come out great in filtration tests - can't remember where I read that.

Btw, I had the quickshift cone filter (that CJ is talking about) on my old GS and it looked and sounded great - feck all performance difference though
