Standard FTO Headlamp Bulbs

Howdy folks

I need to buy two standard dip beam head lamp bulbs for FTO - Does any one know who stock them in Dublin?

I was ordering them through CamSkill but the shipping is more expensive than the price of the bulbs!
I dunno if anyone else has this problem but I generally find visibility poor with the standard one's - CamSkill have 8o watts but they state they are illegal and for show only - Wonder would they get through an NCT??

Hi Darren,

Visibility with stadard bulbs is pretty poor..quite a fewof us have upgraded with HID kits...myself included.
Do a search on HID - you'll find loads of pictures..

If you plan on sticking with standrd bulbs I seem to remember bein recommended Philips BlueVision (or similar) bulbs..

I wouldn't go using high wattage bulbs. HIDs would be the way to go without risking burning out your wiring or headlight unit.
