That last one does look interesting, but the guy is very vague about details, no pics of the custom bits mentioned. He has a few other high performance motors listed for sale too.

If I was in the area I'd go for a tyre kick though, does sound a tasty motor...

That last HKS car has come up several times over the past few years on the UK FTO forum. Most of the guys that have actually viewed the car haven't had a lot of good things to say about it. As the pistonheads advert says itself its prob best suited to a track environment. Personnaly I would have thought a 2litre to 2.5 litre turbo would have been a better engine than the 3litre NA engine - I imagine the weight of a 3litre NA over the front wheels of an FTO would do nothing for the handling esp considering how light the FTO is on the rear. Also the 3 litre Diamante engine only puts out around 200-205bhp - unless its a later model 3litre mivec engine which would have circa 250-260bhp.

So is it seriously a 3 litre then?! I would have thought anyone selling a 3 litre FTO would have put a pic of the bay up for proof.

The 3L block out of the Diamante only put out a few bhp more than the MIVEC 6A12 but it was up on torque though over the latter. Personally, I think this conversion is a waste of time considering the relatively low gains.
