Quinn won't quote for new business (phone call).
Phoned Setanta (O'malley Griffin brokers). Very helpful... tried every option open to them. Got close with two insurers, but no quote as car is over 15 years old.

NCT is a joke, with the condition of the roads at the moment, I have mine next month, and I'll be surprised if my suspension is after holding up well enough to pass after driving the last few weeks on the surfaces I have been! Bad enough paying tax when they're doing nothing apart from splashing out on this too.
