Very technical question about wheels

Postby Sleppeah » Wed Jan 18, 2006 2:18 pm

How do you get the wheels off? :)
I removed the 5 visible bolts and it wouldn't budge.

Is there a bolt underneath the central cover with the mitsi logo? If so is there a knack to removing this cover?

Cheers

The wheel is probably rusted in place, get under the car with a piece of wood and a lump hammer and give the wheel a few smacks at the outer rim, it should loosen up handy enough.

I should have said give the wheel a few smacks at the rear, but you already knew that ;) Just make sure not to hit the wheel too hard when its up on a jack (an axle stand would be safer).
