GPS Satelitte Navigation - Advice/Suggestions?

Hey everyone! My old man is looking to get a GPS. Any suggestions on reasonably priced ones that work well in Ireland (Dublin)?

You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen, it said 'Parking Fine'.
