Calling all GPvRs

Postby CJ » Thu Jan 15, 2009 10:04 pm

I received this message today:

Hello,

I'm just wondering if you know of any 98 (or so) FTO GP Version-Rs in Ireland? If you do could you please let me know. I am looking to do a photoshoot with one in Ireland.

Thank you for your time,

Chet Marshall

I replied looking for more info and got the following reply:

CJ,

Thank you for your reply. We are looking to do a photoshoot for an upcoming racing simulator. Do you have any pictures you could send me? We are looking for the car to be Japanese spec and as stock as possible. We are not looking to drive the car at all, just a simple photoshoot. For letting us do the photoshoots we can put the owners name in the credits of the game, as well as send them a copy of the game once it is released. Please let me know if this is something the owners would be interested in.

Thank you for your help,

Chet Marshall

This looks to me like a genuine enquiry. If you are a GPvR owner and you're interested in having your car featured in a computer game, please let me know. Send an email to ciaran @fto-ireland.com with a picture and I'll forward on for consideration.

To be honest Dan, even forgetting the GPvR part, the first word that comes to mind when I think of your car isn't stock!

Of the GPvR's that come to mind, the only one with stock wheels is OI's, (probably dirty though), but I'm sure there are others?
Nice opportunity though, and would love to see someone from the site featured.

Was thinking mcgon's too, but does he not have a decal on the side? A blue dragon or something, or is that someone elses?

Chet mentioned that he had been speaking with you Laura, let us know how it goes. IIRC, the platform in question is Xbox 360.

they only want gpvr ?

that's discriminating

Specially when a GS or any other model will look exactly the same for example ( apart the spoiler, and that depends on the GS if it was changed or not )

anyway, if they want a stock GS, mine's up.
