Hey Kace, yah, I used to have a Milltek De-cat box in for my daily driving. Made exhaust sound a bit more deep/rumbly. Didn't really make any noticeable power difference, although a rolling road might show a couple of +/- bhp/ft/lbs difference I'm sure. Anyway, I just got fed up putting the CAT back in for NCT. I used to have to go to a ramp in my mates garage, and buy new gaskets every couple of times (probably not needed, but I did). I even did it on the floor one year when his ramp was unavailable. Anyway... After they changed to the 12 month NCT cycle, I thoguht Fc*k that. Left the CAT in permanently. De-Cat box at home in the press. Sounds marginally more raspy with the CAT in. No detectable difference in power/fuel use etc. so feck it.
