I just had a quick look at that article and it says than the FTO does "0-100 km/h in under 8 seconds" I have only a GS so it takes about 9 seconds from 0-100. Is the V6 only a second quicker? surly that can't be right.

Strickly speaking, its correct, it is under 8 seconds. The figure is 6.9sec for a GPX, I believe a UK GPX did 0-60 in 6.7secs in the past.

Was thinking maybe next year going for a GPX. Have you ever drove a GS and is the GPX much quicker in the take off.

Yes and Yes I owned a manual GS for a year and a half before the GPX, the two cars are worlds apart in terms off acceleration and pick up, the 6A12 and 4G93 engines are completely diferent beasts.
