Once you have that turbo installed, you should have the best 0 to 60 to 0 time! 8)

What size discs did you get?
Hope it all fits under your rims!
They must have cost you a small fortune  - or do you have deal you'd like to share with us?

Dave - its a pity you can't make the June meet - I'd like to see how your project is coming along. Have you done much with the turbo recently?

discs are 315 or something like that. they'll fit under 17's so i should have no problems with the 18's!

it was expensive, but less VAT and a little bit of haggling it worked out pretty ok considering brand new GPX front discs, calipers and pads would have cost a far whack so i put the extra to it and got the best!!

Turbo has been delayed, we have to fit a new wastegate which delayed us from doing it last weekend, but once that comes in the next available weekend it'll be done! (Touch wood)

It's a shame i can't make this meet because it was when we would have showcased the car but that's life.

Once i've all that done, i'm hopefully going to look at the bozz speed front bumper and a full respray including moulding everything in! after that i'm done!!! 8)

Sounds like it's all coming together nicely.... the bozz speed will look great with a nice FMIC.

only the FMIC isn't the may west.... it's second hand and a touch on the small side! still though!

oh i forgot to add fully adjustable suspension to my list!! after that, that's it!!!! i swear!

All sounds good, looking forward to seeing the end product!

I'd be particularly interested to see how well your brembos work - do they come with a new master cylinder or does it use the stock one? You're going from GS/GR calipers to Brembos, right? Will the brembos just bolt on or is there a bit of modification that needs to be done first?

Been trying to sell one or two old bits I have lying around before reinvesting in a few new bits and bobs... steel braided brake pipes high on the agenda, but more importantly a belt/tensioner kit is due too I think.

The improvement from GR brakes to Brembos is amazing! But don't assume they will fit under 17s or 18s. My 18" rotas had to be changed for 17" Evo Enkeis to clear the calipers. There were quite a few 17" wheels that didn't clear.

Yer I must admit the rotas had very little clearance. The brembos are huge though compared to the standard calipers!!!!

don't fancy having to fork out for a set of alloys! i couldn't downsize so i'd have to go up to 19's!!
I'll say nothing till i have a good proper look though!!

I think for some wheels the problem is the wheel's centre hub size, i.e. the hub catches the calipers

I didn't want to go into too much detail (and break the possible bad news) earlier in the thread when I asked about whether or not the calipers would fit - The fact that they are 18's will help but offset and spoke design will have a say in whether or not they will fit.

I'd say you'll be ok - what offset are you running on the rims?

It should be specified on the rim. Mine mentions rim width and diameter, PCD and Offset.

E35 is the offset of my 18's dave i guess yours would be about the same.

ET35 with an 18" rim should be fine. If the wheel is 7.5" wide then I doubt you'll have any problems. I'm using 17x8 enkeis and there is loads of clearance, but my 18x7 rotas (et48 + 10mm spacers) were not even close to fitting.

When I was on the look out for new wheels most 17x7 wheels would not clear the calipers.
