This is interesting, how would you know if there was one fitted on the car?

I've been worried for a while that the diff was on the way out but I wonder are the symptoms because of a LSD?
Whoever owned this in Japan seemed to be obsessed with turning it into a VR - HID's, Vac / oil temp gauges / spoiler / maybe a LSD???

Come to think of it, there's a negative camber roundabout near work where, in the last car, in the wet I'd nearly always get understeer and the inside wheel spinning - haven't managed it in the FTO

there's me thinking my driving had improved....

Does anyone else have one? Any way to tell? (besides dismantling!!)

I'm not sure this would work but one way (and it would be good fun this!) would be to drive around corners REALLY FAST if you get wheelspin from one side and not the other then you know..

I'm sure there's a less entertaining safer & more legal method..but would you really want to find out in a boring less life threatning way??

Thats what I just said - roundabouts are corners - doesn't happen though!
Even with the crappy tyres I'm trying to wear out so I can buy new ones!!!

Maybe I'm not going fast enough.....
