Well hopefully he'll be done good and proper then and see's the inside of a prison for a while!! What are the prosecuting him for? Agravatted assault causing serious bodily harm or something along those lines?
If it was in the smoking area did they get him on CCTV doing it?

Never ceases to amaze me the amount off CCTV cameras that 'aren't working' when something happens. They're there for a fecking reason so why people dont want to hand over the tapes is beyond me! Its usually cause the culprit is someone who has contacts or is a relative of someone who has authority! Just another reason this country is going to the dogs.

I heard a similar story to this recently where a girl got injured by a customer in a well known Blackrock bar (few years ago). The bar then claimed that they knew nothing about it, didn't know or couldn't identify the customer that assaulted her and didn't have any CCTV etc. etc.
The girl wound up having to sue the bar itself in order to get justice (and compensation). She wasn't in it for the money, but after the bar did absolutely nothing to help her apprehend the real culprit (and with a really bad attitude to boot), she decided that the only course of action was to go after them.
She won her case.
