One of the guys over @ Irish Rotary had a black RX-7 stolen from his house in Lucan last night (95-D-53266), there should be damage to the nearside quarter panel due to a hasty escape. If anyone comes across it, let the guy know (Seb, keep your eyes open!):

He has a 4k excess policy, ouch....

Car turned up in Tallaght this morning, appears to have some damage but the owner is happy with the find nonetheless.

Hopefully it's not too badly damaged, I don't know how I'd feel after getting a stolen car back.

happened me years ago, my lovely twincam ae86 got nicked from outside pub late one night, but got a call from boy's n blue and they found her abandoned miles away, collected it at station with spare keys, starter was gone and no petrol, but for next bloody 6mths she broke my heart, breaking down, fuel probs, diff, electrical, so sold her on,,,

hope you get her back in one piece mate, the feckers should be tied to towbar and dragged few miles

On the basis of his 4k excess policy, I reckon he was pretty pleased to see the car again!

Very lucky that they hadn't "flashed" it..apparently that's common pratice these days.

I'd say he's reconsidering his insurance policy just now..
