That was me CJ - first time I've been either directly behind or in front of another FTO - always makes heads turn when you see a couple together.

I've seen you around the same area before - but you're always a little bit ahead - maybe that's the MIVEC difference(!).

PS - thanks for the help on all the suspension queries I had. My local garage fitted new droplinks (worn away to nothing) and manually, vertically aligned my rear wheels. Big difference on the handling. Steering wheel used to turn itself left on it's own, but since the links were done, it's sorted too.

Still have the camber bolts and bushes from Camskill, hopefully get them fitted in the new year, and get a laser alignment done too.

NCT on Friday 24th - fingers crossed. My worry is inner tyre wear from the suspension problem I had, and emmissions. My FTO can let off some steam from the rear on a cold morning. Think I'll chance it, and if it fails, it's an opportunity to make the car better.......

Will keep you posted.

Good man Gwyn, I think I've seen you around that junction in the past, obviously you must work / live in the general area (in my case its both!).
Out of interest, could you clearly make out the 'www'fto-ireland.com' on the rear screen?

Good to hear that you're getting your suspension bits sorted, it makes a biff difference when everythings aligned and setup correctly.

CJ - I lived in Blanchardstown since I was 6 - but bought a house in Lusk - still work there though - Lucent (soon to be Alcatel-Lucent).

Bit of a trek but the mode of transport makes it worth it.

The sign was the first thing I noticed - very clear - are there any available for sale ?
