Not that helpful a 'Spotted' but.... hello? Ireland's covered in FTO's now! Got mine cos I thought it looked hot & it was rare enough  Maybe it's just where I live!! Well... that's sort of obvious, I guess :D

Know what you mean, spot one nearly every time I go to blanch shopping centre, maybe just because I’m looking out for them now.

I’d love to see the spotted section on a fiat punto website. Was driving one a couple of week back and it made me realise just how many are on the road.

This is an interesting point and could be explained by selective perception.

We tend to notice things that are relevant to us, like the person who notices everyone smoking when they give up first :)

You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen, it said 'Parking Fine'.

I've been at the shopping center on three seperate occasions over the last week..everytime I've been parked close to Maplin/Atlantic home care..

2ftos seem to reside in the car park..

1xBlack with shopping list - tuned by such&such sticker where the model should be ..think it was 95..have dodgy memory

1xSkyblue with BIG tailpipe exit..very very nice color.. yesterday a lady was sitting on the bonnet (!!!!) just as I was about to ask her if it was her car the indicators started flashing... Indeed 2 minutes later a young man was having words with same lady..

I also spotted a very short-haired bloke in the Black fto in same car park - was driving myself at this time so didn't really get any details..the guy did however wave as a drove past him..

Last night also a Red 94D outside PC-World..

I need to print more flyers..

Have a nice weekend guys!

I hate the place - never feel safe leaving my car there...but then again. I don't feel safe leaving my car in the Company Carpark either...people just don't care about cars - or atleast they don't care when it's not theirs.

Really like the color btw - looks real nice!

u in the 3g shop by chance?

You make an interesting point IP! But tbh I was as FTO crazy the 12 months prior to purchasing my p&j and there honestly weren't as many about! This girl has radar for the sleek curves of our babies!

Nailer - sky blue sounds nice for the FTO... any pictures? Can't believe some random punter was sitting on your car!!

And on the topic of people doing mean things to your FTO in your absense... someone's put a nice big scrape & dent in the passenger wing of mine. Noticed it one morning - & it definately wasn't me because you would have heard this dent in progress!! Obviously someone not parking well etc :smt089

Before I purchased my fto (Oct 05), I swear I had not seen one in Kilkenny and genuinely believed that there was not any in the immediate area. Since then I have seen at least four on a very regular basis in around the town, not including visitors.

If you take the figures from Wilkipedia, there have been 16,438 fto's produced not including the figures for 1994, (which are not known). Given that there is a 'huge' fto owners club in Australia, a substantial one in the UK and a healthy one here in Ireland, where are all the fto's coming from? For example the Japanese auction site which I frequent the most has at least 33 fto's from 1996 upwards up for grabs tonight. :?:
