Importing

Postby iwannafto » Mon Feb 28, 2005 10:39 pm

I was just wondering if anybody on the site has had any experience of importing their own cars? I have been looking for 1997 GPX model but have had no success. Are there any companies in Ireland that even offer such a service

In Ireland that import to order theres japnuts.com (prices high) and GT Central - (no website i know of, but they require no deposit or money down until the car is sourced so thats a plus), probably a good few more if you do a bit more hunting (do highgrade import to order??)...

Theres also tons of online japan-to-uk brokers that'll do it - I'm buying from one of these imminently, just holding out for the right car to come along... I'll let you know how I get on.

iwannafto, search the forums for 'importing' theres lot of previous posts on this topic. One other company with Irish staff you can speak to is http://www.autoterminal.com, there are plenty of Japanese companies out there such as http://www.showatrade.com/ who have a good reputation.
