KYB dampers and Apex or Eibach springs would be def the best way to go in the long-run. Way better handling and you'll have worry free motoring as opposed to fitting a 2nd hand (and most likely worn) set.

wouldnt this be the best solution for any car ?
http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... 0s586p9257

easy to fit, to set height and clean and nice looking ! not counting the adjustable confort and car behaviour.
(price is same if u buy all included items separately...)

Possibly better option if you are looking for ultimate in handling but by my maths its a lot more expensive than KYB dampers and Apex springs.

205->kybs
98->apex
46->stops rear
22->stops front
------------------
pieces~371

kit=541

the difference is 170 pounds, which u make in quality and extreme performance and not last, changing ride height, comfort/grip, etc.

this is my point of view... i prefer to save a month to get flexibility .. than put the apex/kybs kit, which dies how u mount it

or i'm mistaking?

You won't need the front or rear stops with the KYBs hence price diff is a considerable 238GBP / 262Euro. Its not like the Gaz coilovers (not exactly the dogs danglies of coilovers) are going to add that much over the KYBs and Apex on a road going FTO - IMO the KYBs & Apex are likely to be more suited to an FTO for road use and a considerable upgrade over a tired OE set-up. You are better off spending the price difference on uprated bushes/droplinks/ARB's.
