hi Guys

this might be a silly question but when is it recommended to change your brake discs, is there a wear tolerance?
theres no warping or anything just wondering should i add new ones to the list

Run your finger over the brake surface. If it's REALLY pitted and grooved then consider a new pair. New disk means new pads also, old pads on new disks is rarley advised. Also look out for a lip on the outside edge. If this is substantial then go for them. They wear slower than pads so have a think back to how many times your pads have been done. Have a look also at the thickness of the disk wall to the vented part. If this is smaller than 3-4mm then they're worn.

Yes, figures are in the workshop manual on p35-11, thickness values below:

Front standard value: 24mm, limit 22.4mm
Rear standard value: 10mm, limit 8.4mm
