FTO GPvR on e-bay

Postby ftodreamer » Sat May 06, 2006 6:38 pm

Whats your thoughts on this...I know buying from e-bay sounds a bit dodgy, but if this car is for real, it could be a very good buy.

Does anyone have any experience when it comes to importing cars into england??? Is it possible for this to happen?

Looks good to me - the guy has a long history trading on eBay also.
If the price is right - this looks like a great machine

Not for the GPvR, as part of weight saving that creature comfort was dumped.

On the face of it - looks like a good buy - but with comments like -
"JAPANESE IMPORT BUT IT WAS ON A SLOW BOAT AND MISSED A REGISTRATION DEADLINE THAT THE DVLA ANNOUNCED HENCE THE USUAL SVA SYSTEM FOR REGISTRATION DOSNT APPLY AND THE CAR NEEDS A MODEL REPORT" - whats with that? - did the boat take 2years :?: - this has been an issue in the UK for at least 2 years.

And - "ITS AGREAT EXAMPLE FOR SOMEONE TO REBUILD A CRASHED ONE WITH IT, MAKE A TRACKDAY CAR OR DRIFTER," - A drifter! - the car is FWD - good luck with trying to drift it :?

Theres a little too much bullshit for my liking going on here.

Set of bald tyres on the front. High revs, select reverse, pop the clutch.

An FTO drifting backwards around a track -now theres something you don't see everyday
