Flywheel, clutch and LSD - Yes - The rest I wouldn't bother with as its a very expensive way to make your FTO a few bhp more powerfull. Money better spent on 4 pot front and 2 pot rear brakes (brembos etc) - and of course suspension (adjustable coilovers and uprated suspension components) - and the cheapest way of all to make your FTO go quicker would be to loose weight - out with the air con, rear spoiler, rear seats (& standard heavy front seats), air bags, spare wheel and tools and any trim/carpet etc that you don't need. A nice set of lightweight rims to reduce unsprung weight would be nice too.
If you're gonna mess with the NA FTO mivec engine then a cold air induction + Walbro pump + uprated fuel pressure regulator + Iridium plugs + Exhaust + downpipe + ECU and map accordingly would be the cheapest way to circa 10-15bhp increase. Spend any more money and you may be better off with a VR4 engine conversion and the big increase in power that it would bring.
