Check out the live wire that connects to your cigarette lighter, mine is on constant.

Mines not!?

Does the bluetooth unit really need to be on permanently? If so theres a permanent live going into the stereo, if not, you can use a switched live from the same source.

Mine's only on when the car is on.

G - if you haven't already got one get hold of a multi-meter they're dead handy for finding out what's what when it comes to these things.

As CJ says there's a live in the the loom for the stereo - I forget what color it has..but I seem to remember red for some reason, so give that one a whirl.. Also if it's a permanent installation you might want to think about putting a fuse inline - safety first!
Would be a real pisser if it went wrong.. :-(
