RPM Meter not working

hi guys,
The RPM meter is working off n on lately, im sure its nothn to do with Fuse, any idea from anybody what that could be!

did u take out the dials lately?
no1. manual GR 96 l no2. tip GR 95 l no3. manual Gpx 95 l no.4 manual Gpx 95 l no.5 manual Gpx 96 l no.6 tip GR 95 - in 2011 took a break from the FTO scene

had this problem m8 when bought my car the rpm pick up is situated in the ifs sensor just under water tower it is grounded throw the engine and the metal plates just under them corrode if this is no help they also ground throw a capacitor on inlet. hard to explain but if u look at engine there be about 2-3 connector blocks on a bracket on left hand side of inlet there should be a ground with a capacitor but befor u look at this i start with ifs if this is no help apologise now but the ifst is def where it picks up from

im bit new to this to have not even uploaded a sig lol all i can tell u is there a thread on this site for electrical guide in it you will find relays fuse electrical diagrams and sensor locations had helped me a lot the sencer could be called ignition failure sencer to help a little better follow the top rad hose it will take u to a tower with a presure cap on just behind it a little lower will be the sensor lol how to describe looks like the throttle postion sensor and it also has a metal plate under it the sensor its self has 2 bolts and there is anouther bolt sorry for bad description but best way i can m8
