Postby mick_dont_surf » Thu Feb 15, 2007 2:20 pm

i was listening to the radio this morning goin on about biofuels
it is apperantly quite easy to convert a petrol engine to take bioethanol.
anybody thought or know anything about this.
this could save me a lot of dough.

the petrol heads could soon be called bioheads :P

I could be talking out of my ar*e here but I think that the amount of energy in Bioethanol is less than that of petrol so you will get less MPG and less power. That also means that the relative proce of bioethanol is higher so you would need to do your sums.
