Heard on today fm this morning that Eddie Hobb's "Rip off Ireland" thats on tonight is on about cars and tax and vrt and that kinda thing. I'll be shocked if insurance isn't mentioned too.

Queue Cork accent - "The Irish government are ripping you off..." :)

It should be interesting given the current media hype surrounding the program, the TDs and Fianna Fail only have themselves to blame on that note.

I am looking forward to it. Only sorry I missed the first episode. There's a huge swell of public support. According to the weekend papers he is currently the most talked about man in Ireland! It would be great if he could make a difference. Like he said himself a big part of the problem is that if you complain about the price you are perceived to be a cheap skeet. If he could change that perception alone he'd be doing the country a big favour.
He gets my vote. :smt023

Ya, I missed last week, saw the first week. Hopefully it will come to something, put pressure on the govt if nothing else.

4 sessions altogether apparently.
