Spotted a black (96 D I think) FTO, complete with after market rear fog light hanging from the bottom of the bumper, parked right outside the front door of Halfords on saturday afternoon. Anyone here?

He must be the only Halfords manager in the whole world that actually knows what a FTO is.. :D
Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

Standard practice Keith, there are some Mitsubishi dealers who haven't heard of FTOs either.

Treat Halfords as the Tesco of the automotive world, asking for a fanbelt for an FTO is akin to asking the younglad working in the off license for something with "fragrances of blackberry and cassis" and being disappointed when you're handed a bottle of Ribena.

There are some very knobledgable people working in Halfords, but for every one of those, there are 5 lads who weren't hired based on their in-depth understanding of cars.

I think thats were your problem started you should have asked a young lady. As Al Murray said "beer for the gents, wine or fruit based drink for the ladies".
before I start a whole rigmarole about what men/women can or cant drink, I was joking :smt005
