Need measurment from rear side window

Postby CJ » Tue Jul 15, 2008 8:49 am

I'd appreciate if someone could measure the lenght of the lower section of the small rear side triangular window between the visible section and post up the result.

you're looking for the widest measurement of the exposed glass?

Yes, I'm organising some club stickers and need the measurements to be reasonably precise.

218mm of visible width sounds a lot (if only I had an FTO in the car park!) - can you confirm?

widest point of class is 218mm. the clear part of the class is 130mm wide.

widest point is where the ruler is.

by "visable" I took it to mean how much of the glass you can see between the rubbers, maybe you meant how much of the glass is clear as opposed to black?

stickers going on inside or outside?

Good work Colm, thats the one I was looking for. Stickers will most likely be on the outside but I reckon they would look better if theres within the constraints of the clear part of the glass. Also getting larger front window stickers done up, watch this space...

Would stickers for the inside be possible?
I cleverly scraped my windscreen sticker off with the ice over the winter

Of course I could just watch what I'm doing

Yes - but it would be nigh on impossible to fit the front windscreen sticker with the rear view mirror in the way. Would be OK for small stickers.

inside stickers are impossible to fit for those who have tinted windows.
