rear ended into an another car this morning...

abit sad.went to guy to see how much to fix................until he gets the bumper off he cant give me a price yet. my fault i was too close but the guy stopped dead an i went into him.....................what is the paint codes for the fto..............i cant find a link.......................anyone?. :cry:

nightmare belfast man. same thing happened to me in August. they pulled in front of me and SLAMMED on to a dead stop. both driver and passenger developed back and knee problems then even though the tap light enough (cosmetic bumper damage only, no bends).
You didn;t get any of that crap did you? If you need to know ANYTHING about bumper replacement I'm now officially an expert after the trials I went through to get mine :lol:

Also guys, another clown pulled out in front of me in the phoenix park 2 weeks ago. I was so ANGRY I sat on the horn for about 2 minutes (no exaggerating) and put my beams on behind him. I was livid. No way I want to deal with all that hassle again. insurance/bumpers/garages/paints etc etc :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

i had no problems with ur man,he was fine about it.he had no damage on his a4 but im paying the bill myself,dont want to pay extra insurance next year.im angry that i i went into him as im usually very alert on my driving.ive a red face ffs lol. the garage says untill they get t the bumper off to c if ive damaged behind the bumper...........he says i might get away without having a new one keeping fingers crossed....he was saying he had an fto in for a new back bumper,in all cost £ 600.....hope i dont pay that.. :twisted:

even a bumper respray or patch up job should cost min. 200.

cars in to get fixed.he rung me to say i need new front bumper brackets.......the bumper will be getting resprayed and top quote was with vat nearly 750........................gutted,i only hit the a4 abit....

yeah my brackets cost me 350euro, and the bumper cost 650euro. thats not including any labour. so 750 isn't too bad at all.
