yeah, i was keeping an eye on them possibly to do a last minute bid but things on eBay tend to jump up alot in the last few minutes. it will be interesting to see how much they go for and how much we can get them for in the future from citroen or other sites.
You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen, it said 'Parking Fine'.

Citroens are often scrapped cause they're too expensive to repair... It may well be possible to find these foggers on the cheap at your local yard.. :-)

That used to be the case 'cos they used a lot of proprietary technology, like the suspension system on DS, BX, etc, but lately (certainly since before the Picasso was introduced) they're no more expensive to fix than any other car.

Atleast there was the last time I checked... Must have a gander again this weekend if I get a chance..

Thats probably because of the cars losing value rather than being too expensive to repair, unfortunately Citroens have a bad rep for losing value quickly, so then of course they do. :( When I got my 95 FTO I was lucky to break even with what I got from selling my 00 1.8 VTS Xsara.

Went for a test spin in one of those (actually I think it was a 2.0vts - same engine as the 306gti6 afaik).. Good fun in a straight line.. a bit too much like a boat around corners though..
The Devaluation is rather insane could have picked up a 98 for 4k from a dealer.. Ok it wasn't in super condition - but it certainly had a few good years left in it... Oh .. and it had fogs (just to stay on topic :-) ).
