Hey Adrian,

I rang about that one last tuesday as it was advertised in the buy and sell but they told me it hadn't arrived yet - it was coming in as a trade in and only arrived on friday - sounds like it could be worthwhile having a look at.

Btw, My GS is gone - picked up this morning...... V6 hear I come, .... I hope

To be honest I dunno why everyone is suddenly running scared of the tip box - ok so when it goes it is expensive but I reckon if you look after it with regular oil changes and don't drive it too hard then you should be fine - I had absolutely no trouble with my tip box in 2 years of ownership. Anyway if I was to go with a 4 spd tip I'll be taking out an extended gearbox warranty so (touch wood) this would cover all eventualities....

I never looked at this car casue it wasn't in when I rang them. They sounded like they knew what they were talking about. I'm still trying to get a mechanic out to look at a car in Lucan..... am getting a bit bored now waiting for him.

if you can afford the insurance then yest definitely. The GS is a great car but I think only get one if you can't afford the insurance on a GR/GPX - that's why I got one originally - you could always get a GR/GPX and mod that - the advantage is you won't have to mod it for extra speed - it's gonna be fast enough

True. Problem is that there are no FTO's out there at the moment in Ireland that take my fancy. I'll keep looking.....
