16-80A Alternator fuse BLOWN!!

Postby drifter_uk » Tue Apr 01, 2008 7:48 pm

So was away for 3 weeks and on my return to the UK I realised that my battery had gone flat,

well I thought I deserved that since I didnt disconnected my battery before I left. Thought it was going to be a easy solution to it, just called a friend to bring his car over and jump start mine!!!

Easy I THOUGHT!! just so easy we were so busy talking that we connected the jump leads wrong and manage to blow the alternator fuse!!!!!

now never had to replace a fuse from the fusebox and the alternator is not the common fuse from what I saw when I took it out!

ANYONE know where I can buy a replacement ??? :(

THANK YOU EVERYONE

GO to a breakers yard near you and the fuse will be common to most Mitsi models especially Jap Imports.

Also I think that fuse may be bolted in from memory, could be wrong though. Mitsi dealer will have them aswell.
