Uprated fuel pump, bigger injectors, fuel pressure regulator, colder plugs - better air flow through the intake and plenum and out using decats and a larger bore exhaust are all good places to improve. Would all then need to be remapped using something like a Haltech and a reputable tuner.

Big bucks - more than the value of your FTO - for maybe 15bhp. Even if you supercharge or turbo your existing GPX engine you'll stil have to get most of the above to increase fuel/air and manage it.

OR you could go down the road of an engine change - EVO or VR4 for much more power for not much more money than above.

Personally theres a lot to be said for going a different direction and lightening the FTO (remove air con, rear seats, all junk in the trunk like spare wheel & tools and any bracket, wire or piece of metal thats doesn't have a particular purpose).
Then improve your suspension and braking and I'll bet you'll have a quicker car around a track than simply adding more power.

Losing 130kg would have a similar effect to those mods

ok lads thanks was hoping the above mentioned mods would have seen more than 15bhp prob not worth the cost but would it be possible to fit say a gsr or older evo engine and just run the power to the rear wheels obviously it would require a new rear axle but financially (say less than 5k ish) whats the chances

Yes its possible but would require huge effort and cost. Easiest option would be to drop in a 6A12TT from a VR-4, search the forum for more info on this route.

I don't think it'll be straightforward - but it'll be one of the easier conversions. For instance I have heard that you'll need to put a bow in the rear wall of the engine bay to get it to fit. There again some people have claimed its not neccessary - without having tried it personnally I can't say for sure.
